On January 5, I announced my candidacy for Circuit Court Judge in the 20th Judicial District, serving Madison and Rankin Counties. The nonpartisan election will be held on November 3, 2026.

I've spent my entire career in service to this community – first as a firefighter, EMT, and police officer, then as a federal prosecutor for 10 years, and for the last decade in private practice. I've seen our justice system from every angle, and I know what it takes to deliver fair, thoughtful, and timely justice for the people of Madison and Rankin Counties.

My unique background combines frontline experience in emergency services and law enforcement with extensive courtroom expertise. As a federal prosecutor for 10 years, I handled both violent crime and complex white-collar cases, gaining deep experience across the full spectrum of criminal law.

In private practice for the last 10 years, I have represented clients in civil and criminal matters as well as regulatory compliance. I have served as outside counsel for ambulance services, nonprofit organizations, and healthcare providers, giving me broad insight into the legal challenges facing businesses and institutions throughout the district.

Whether I was responding to emergencies as a first responder or prosecuting cases as an Assistant United States Attorney, I've always been guided by the same principles: integrity, fairness, and a deep respect for the law. Those are the values I'll bring to the court every day. My judicial philosophy as a Constitutional conservative is that judges must properly interpret and uphold the law, instead of trying to legislate from the bench.

My wife Caroline and I have two children, Garrett and Anna Claire, and we are active members of Brandon Baptist Church and our community. I ask for your vote on November 3, 2026.
